March 2009

Ok, so its been way longer than I ever thought it would be for an update. WAY WAY LONGER!

Let me first start by appologizing to everyone who's sent mail that I've either replied to, or worse yet, have not replied to. I'm very sorry its taken so long for me to get back to all of you.

Right off the top:

1. Yes,  I'm still working on the Ferrum Carbo Master pieces.

2. Yes, I'm still in the molding process.

3. Yes, I'm planning on posting pictures, when? First batch this weekend.

4. CyberFembot A.R.C. orders? Yes, still have a couple of those to finish off.

5. Refunds, yea, you read that right. Refunds. I've suffered some setbacks in the last year that I will be happy to talk about off-line that have forced me to cancel some orders and issue refunds. If you've gotten mail from me, you're one of those affected. If not. Don't worry. All is well. I'll be sending mail in the next couple weeks with details and payments to be setup individually for those affected. No Ferrum Carbo Master orders are affected.

6. CyberFemJets - These are cancled till further notice. Refunds will be issued to all those who ordered, including pre-orders and prototype-orders.

7. CyberFembot P.O.D's - These are canceled till further notice. Refunds will be issued to all those who ordered, including pre-orders and protoype-orders.

Why am I canceling projects and refunding money?

1. I've had a really rough year in 2008. Details for those who care offline (mail me)

2. I've been doing this since 2004 more or less on my own and I'm really, really ready to be done. Does that mean I'm closing shop? No. Not at this point. But I do need to scale back.

3. There's no doubt anymore as to the status of these projects. I really have held out as long as I think is reasonable... really way past reason in some cases and there just isn't any reason to wait further. Time to give the money back and let my customers and mysefl off the hook on these projects that I just can't seem to get off the ground.

CybCon 2008

This year's CybCon was ok. It was at the King Oscar again and again was a "private" event. This meant that the number of attendee's was extremely limited to those who were able to pre-register. There were several dealers, several personal sellers, a kids selling table and some custom pieces on display. I was there from 9:00am till around 4:00pm. We sold a few LG-1 pieces and gave one away to a local painter to work on as a test for future work. If he works out then I'll have a source for custom painting on our pieces on a per-order basis. I also gave a piece away to one of the convention organizers and one of my MasterHeads to Greg himself, just as a small thank you for holding the event. The LG-1.2 below painted is one of the ones sold at the show and painted by the person on the other end of the link below the picture. There were 270+ pictures taken and posted so far by Greg and others. The ones that included myself or my toys on display are below. The really tiny ones are cropped ones that I removed all but my table, myself, or my toys. All in all it was a good show. I've got purchase links up for both LG-1.2 as well as MasterHead on the BUY NOW page. My personal thanks to all who stopped by and said hi, talked with some folks from TheAllspark, CollectionDX, and TFW2005.  Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words and suggestions.

The CollectionDX coverage of CybCon is here, and we get a very nice mention! Thanks!

LG-1 Updated

Preparing for CybCon 2008

CyberFembot work will begain again this week, I've got plastic on order and I will be working to get these pieces done by the end of September. Most need fill in pieces to compelte both the kits and assembled pieces. I'll also be finishing the custom black piece as well as the re-work for Optimus Prime.

After the CyberFembots are compelte (September) I'll begin my molding for Ferrum Carbo Master. Updates will be posted as the work proceeds.

All Masterhead orders will be finished off this week and shipped out. Very sorry for the delays on these.

Couple bits of other news, I've had these pictures for a while now but for some reason never put them up:

Robots Invade the EMP
Also, this TV spot for Seattle's Evening Magazine. Beware: I Love Robots.... LOL... they swore they weren't going to leave that bit in.

Enjoy!

The color will dry for another week and the detailing will begin on the 22nd or 23rd. Expcted Completion of all R.a.z.E. pieces Mid to end of September 2008.

Not the worlds best paint job here, but it should give an idea what's possible with this piece.

Current R.a.z.E. and Diablo pieces. Updated on each individual order as well on the Current Orders page.

July 2008

Color MasterHeads

One small problem... these were some of my first preasure cast pieces on my new setup... they are not 100% perfect and require some sizing to work properly. I don't have time to fuss with these so I'll be bringing them to CybCon this year and selling for $5 each kit. Anyone with patience can have a great MasterHead piece after some TLC.

July 2008

Jonhda Starling comes through with a massive update for the CyberFemJets! We're looking to produce these as statues and transforming toys depending on demand and funding.

Master Mover Bust - He will be cast as if he were going to be assembled as a transforming toy, but will be mounted on a custom base. He will be articulated and will have a removeable gun and moving parts.

LG 1.2 4" tall she'll come with a moving head

And finally what most people have been waiting for.

Ferrum Carbo Master Has arrived.

I've got the Master in hand and will began casting as soon as I get the cast off my foot.
