CyberFembot A.R.C

CyberFembot A.R.C. was created to fill a void. The void of the female transforming robot.

For more than 20 years transforming toys have been bought and sold, collected, traded, played with and generally enjoyed by generations of children and adults alike. During that time there have only been a handful of female characters, toys and statues made. We at Rabid Squirrel Productions felt that this lack of solid female characters was a huge and glaring problem. One that we believed that we could help to fix.

With that in mind we created our CyberFembot A.R.C. The first in the CyberFembot series and a piece that we believe has been long overdue.

Below are pictures of all of the versions of our CyberFembot A.R.C. From the very first hand-sculpted prototype to the last piece we cast.

Each picture links to a larger gallery showing larger and higher quality pictures that fit with the them of the one seen here.

We hope you enjoy browsing through all of them. For more information look to our links at the top of this page. A wide range of information on our CyberFembots is available. Thanks for your time and your interest.

Enjoy!

Genisis

The beginning of the CyberFembots. Pictures of all phases of the original hand-sculpted CyberFembot A.R.C. along with technical notes, commentary and progressive work the piece from inception to final prototype.

Test Shot Number One

The Very first cast CyberFembot A.R.C. test-shot. This is the piece we did all our initial marketing with. We sent pictures to online stores, local shops and interested customers. We also used these photos for posting in many online forums.

Test Shot Number Two

This is the second CyberFembot A.R.C. test shot. We used this piece for additional marketing and to illustrate the softer side of our CyberFembots. She was never shown with guns and she features both the passive face sculpt and open hands.

Test Shot Number Three

This third test shot was used for both comparison pictures with more modern transforming toys. We also took a series of pictures that were more "artsy" and "fantasy" based. We're not sure we like the results, but you be the judge.

The Four Colors

These four colors represent the first high-strength test color shots that we made to test the color fastness and quality of our high strength plastic. They all came out better than expected. One thing to note. We did to a green piece in this series but we managed to loose it's tail fin. That and the fact that it came out way more "minty" green than we wanted kept us from taking one single picture of it. To this day it remains in our vault, un-pictured.

The Lone Clear Piece

Only three clear pieces were produced. This piece shows clearly how CyberFembot A.R.C. is constructed internally.
